What do you mean by ‘better life’?

Once we understand you, we can design for you to make your environment as relaxing, functional, and enjoyable as possible.

Do you install kitchens?

Yes, we offer a dry-fit kitchen service by our dedicated Day True team, who have over 25 years of experience installing premium kitchens. The ‘Dry-fit’ involves installing the kitchen and putting everything in place except for plumbing and electricals.

How much is a kitchen renovation with Day True?

We offer two kitchen ranges to allow us to offer different price points and style. Our “True” range is fully bespoke, showcasing British Craftsmanship with exceptional details inside and out. Our bespoke can be completely customised. This range starts from £45k.  Our “Day” range is our made-to-measure collection, with plenty of options in style and finish, tailored to suit the design. This range starts from £30k. How long does a kitchen renovation take?

Every kitchen renovation timescale will vary as there are lots of different factors to consider and it dependent on other works surrounding the project. We advised that the lead time to order a kitchen is around 12-14 weeks. To install a kitchen (including worktop templates) can be an additional 2-3 weeks. Read our Kitchen Timescale IQ sheet here.

What do I do with my old kitchen?

Our planet is important to us, which is why we work with the Used Kitchen Exchange. They provide a sustainable service which allows you to either sell your old kitchen (which can help to fund your new one) or dispose of your kitchen is a sustainable way. This is both green and cost effective. To find out more, click here.

Do you install bathrooms?

We design and supply bathrooms- we do not install them. We work with an online platform called ‘Protect My Install’ to help you find contractors.

How much is it to design and supply a bathroom with Day True?

The cost of a bathroom can vary greatly depending on the scope of work and the materials used. At Day True, our family bathrooms start from £20k (not including installation)

Can I just use Day True for Design Services?

While we are flattered you would like to engage with us for our design expertise, we only offer a design and supply service. Our approach is simple, it is specifying & supplying the right products & materials combined with award winning design.

How do Day True work with external contractors?

At Day True we make sure that our M&E* & technical drawings reflect the finer details that ultimately bring our designs to life. This level of detail ensures that your appointed contractor has the information required on site to execute the design intent.

• We will provide a full handover of your project to the appointed contractor to ensure all parties are aligned on the design & product specification. 
• We deliver everything to site and communicate with you throughout the process – so there are no surprises.
• Once we have agreed all your preferred products for the design & have received a 50% deposit payment for your project order we then complete & issue a technical drawing pack within an agreed timeframe. These drawings are released in two phases with the M&E being provided first & the remaining technical elements thereafter.

What happens if I don’t have a contractor appointed for my design project ?

Some clients would like Day True to introduce a contractor to carry out the refurbishment works. Our policy is not to recommend any contractors. We will happily pass on the details of companies/contractors that Day True clients have used in the past so that you may acquire quotations if you wish & determine the right company for you. 

We do recommend the services of Protect My Install. This service lists only approved installers that are members of the government sanctioned British Institute of Kitchen, Bedroom & bathroom Installation(BiKBBI)
